I'm ok with it Shazz and sorry I missed the 'in' in the name. You'd think I'd learn wouldn't ya? So don't tell the Queen ok?
'Off with her head!!!'
Oh yeah... while I'm thinking about it if you can be convinced I think at all... is that still the House of Orange? And are they still related to the Stuarts? And does it matter? And how come Dutch people need a Queen anyways? Is it just because the brits got one? Or does she like travel to the formerly Free Orange State and spread goodwill? Or does it have something to do with all those diamond merchants in Amsterdam? And why did all those 17th century Dutch not necessarily diamond but maybe nutmeg or something merchants wear dark, stuffy, uptight European attire even in the tropics? And why am I asking? And who would care why I'm asking? And would you terribly mind answering any or all of these stupid questions?

So you are happy to let us put your entry in this week's edition?
Interesting questions and I will try to answer them all... but probably tomorrow/later tonight as we have to work on getting this week's edition up and it takes more work than is probably realised.

The main thing I guess is that it gets exposed to the community one way or another right? And then we get to peruse the letters to the editor for clues about it's impact if any which ought to be more interesting than the original piece don't you think?

I've changed very little - just added some of The Post's usual editing style... let me know if anything needs changing.

The 'letters to the editor' (if any) will most probably exist as postings below that entry, so you had better subscribe to it right now.

Alas, it hasn't attracted many comments yet. But that's a common experience. My 'Introduction to the Programmer's Corner' suffered the same fate...

That's ok really. You never know what's going to ring somebody's gong right? Besides on the internet you can't hear the hisses or the whistles or the applauses... just the snores and the sound of breaking glass when people passout and tip over the tables.

Or when FABT falls over in shock again and knocks his head on the floor!

Oh, FABT is U168702, and he's quite prone to things like that. Last time was in this PR thread here: F50628?thread=176875&latest=1#p1965726
