Ok, I think this is ready for my Peers or the Lord High Mayor London or whoever's interested in running it through the shredder so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.

Oh, I should have told you that Friday is not a good day for going to Peer Review because nobody is around on Saturday and everybody posts their new entries on Sunday!

Hey, don't worry about it Boss. It's not like I'm on a deadline or anything right? And besides it takes time to shred stuff... just ask any former Andersen auditor.

Just making a joke Boss... shredder... Andersen auditors... Enron... get it? I like jokes to be topical ya know? Otherwise somebody might forget who's ripping them off.

Hi lilithcookie!
I notice that Bossel has already given you some advice on how to write for the Edited Guide.
I suggest that you look at:
Deciding What to Write for the Guide
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/EditedGuide-Guidelines
and also the excellent entry on Drag Queens <./>A704512</.> which shows how you can give shape to an entry by having headings etc.

Ok, so what are you saying? That I should divide it up maybe?
I really didn't think it was that long to begin with but if you like headings I can always do those although I still don't know why. I've already looked at the guide guidelines too and I'm not too sure what if anything's being suggested from that.

Ok once I figured out that GL is just incredibly regimented HTML with the guide tags it sort of went smooth... I think? So what do you think?

It's easier to read now.
You'll need to amend the entry so that it's in the third person - first person entries are not allowed (unless it's something like 'my experience with cancer' or something similar).
It would be interesting to know whether dancers get to choose their own music, how many women dance at once, how long the routines are, etc.

You're really taking an interest in this, aren't you, Zarq?
I rather like the voice the entry's written in; comes across as if it's actually being spoken. Still rules is rules.

Ok... well I think I'll just bag it then. Thanks for your time guys. Entry is officially withdrawn and will be peddled somewheres else, which it is believed is expressed in the correct person.

That's ok... if they want it they can read it just like anybody else and contact my agent... if I ever get one.

No. Don't pull it back. You're describing a part of life, and 'Life' is part of the Guide, isn't it?
The sentence 'Now if you just got off the..' is a bit over the top and you could bag *this* para.
the 'we' in 'And we human females' doesn't need to be there at all.
'read on because I have some helpful..' can be put like this: 'read on because there is some helpful..'
'repetitive repetition' gives me a nice chance to plug A600940 Endless Loops again How about linking to it? The syntax is:
Endless Loops
That's about it.

Sorry about that but it's getting sort of to the point of no return on intellectual investment. It's already published elsewhere now anyways so I'll just have to come up with something else more appropriate for THE GUIDE.
Thanks for your help but maybe this just isn't my kind of publishing venue or something.

Oh btw... I'll be happy to give you a link at cybercomedia.com where Table Dancing is published if you want. Also if you have your own site or sites like I do I can link them as well. Just let me know ok?

Thanks Shazz... I would ask if I could but the link you provided doesn't work for some reason.
Besides if it's something you think you'd want to use just say so ok? And then we'll 'do lunch' or something. It's not like you're going to have to forkup big bucks if you act like you're lusting after it or something.

aa-ha. I got as far as their 0000004f.htm page but apparently there's no link to the contents?

Ah yes. Found it under /cookies
The link from Shazz has a blank in it... should have been <./>ThePost</.>
