i remember vividly the day freddie died, even though i wasn't really into queen at the time - on the late news they played these are the days of our lives and the video, because he had died, and i can still remember that blue suit he was wearing. since then i've gone through my queen are the best ever phase, and i have to agree that i never imagined when i started that their music would be so incredibly varied - from something like tie your mother down to stuff like delilah. unfortunately most of my stuff is on tape and record and now i largely listen to cds - tapes are a pain in the arse. one day i'll remedy that, but for now i largely have to play them in my head. (that sounded really obsessive, sorry)
