Oh, I forgot to mention that you can only see these ghosts with special glasses, and the ghosts have to obay containment spells that are written on the walls of the house, so they can't walk through the walls.

That sounds terrible. Mind you, that`s what often makes a film good. That it`s so bad it`s funny.

One that springs to mind is "They Live". Have you ever seen it? It`s so cheap and nasty but the basic storyline is ok. It has the longest fight scene that i`ve ever seen in it.

Hey I saw Momento last night. That was a pretty good movie!

Which one was they live? The one with the giant ants or the one with the aliens brain washing people?

It was the subliminal message one with Roddy Piper. You could see the messages and the aliens through special sunglasses. It was bad it was good. A true cult classic.

Ahh, that's what I thought.
I liked that one. Great concept.

Yeah!! That`s brilliant. There`s another one when he`s in the store and has just realised what the glasses actually do. He walks into some snotty woman(alien). "You, you`re alright, but this one....real f***ing ugly". It`s something like that anyway. It`s just the way he hits out with it. Class!

I just thought it was boring. You already knew what was going to happin and who did what. It didn't catch my intrest at all.

oh well..lol has anyone seen the last broadcast?thats pretty creepy and quite different.wouldve scared me if my mum hadnt told me the end...lol

stuck on remote at mo,so please bear with the scarcity of detail and complete lack of paragraphs...lolthe last broadcast was made before blair witch,and some say it gave the idea.its a mockumentry,about the disappearance of a group of lads who were putting together a net broadcast for their failing show.the show was to be broadcast from the woods,about the jersey devil,after a request for suggestions for the broadcast on the net.only one came out alive and went to prison for the murders..but what really happened?the docu maker/presenter sets out to reveal all. ...and yes you do find out what happened!has a good /shocking twist at end

That sounds good. Gonna have to look out for that one as well. There was an x-file about the jersey devil . That was a good one.

you know im not a big fan of the x-files..lol,but i did find something on the jersey devil in my world atlas of the unexplained.was surprised to see its a real myth,unlike the blair witch.its supposed to resemble a large crane at firs,but glows brightly.it has a long slender neck ,2pairs of legs..the front shorter than the hind,and 2long thin wings .strangest was its head which resembles a ram because of the curled horns!it utters a bloodcurdling cry,starting very high but ending low and hoarse.

Wouldn`t fancy coming up against that in a dark alley.

Just saw Jeepers Creepers. That wasn`t really up to much, was it? It started off pretty good but went straight downhill from there.

Well... Review time.

Thought we had areview of that one before but it would appear not.

It begins with a brother and sister travelling home from college for the summer. On their journey, they are rammed by a mysterious figure in an old black truck. After a few knocks the truck passes them and is gone. Later in the journey they see the figure throwing something wrapped in a bloody sheet down a sewer pipe near an abandoned church. He sees them watching and gives chase. He runs them off the road and just keeps on going.

It`s at this point they decide to go back and investigate. The build up from here till about the half way point is quite good. The sewer scene is actually quite disturbing (if you try to ignore the blatant use of wax dummies!).

The film, for me, takes a turn for the ridiculous when we actually get to see the creature. We were given no real explanation of why it exists or where it comes from. It also seems odd to me that this guy has been going up and down this stretch of highway for who knows how long and no-one has ever reported his strange behaviour before.

On the whole a good basic idea but doesn`t make good on it`s potential. My rating 5/10.
