It's true.

My Dad, some friends of his and me went to see Gilbert O'Sullivan at Ronnie Scotts in London a few weeks ago, and he said more or less the same thing. The music that is played today seems to be based on your image and has nothing to do with any real talent.

Gilbert, who is about 50 years old or put on an absolutley fabulous performance; he sounded great, chatted to the audience and proved that even his new material is incredibly strong.

I'd like to see how many of todays "popstars" will be as devoted as Gilbert 40 years from now.
