Yes, Sho, I call them earworms too (didn't know it was German...)
That flippin bloomin' Lady GaGa seems to be responsible for most of mine recently.
I try to sing Clair de Lune in my head when I'm infected in the middle of the night...with variable results.

I find the only way to truly rid yourself of said tune is to listen to it a number of times, one after the other, so you get fed up with it. Then it goes away...For a time.
