Entry: Singer/Songwriter Richard Marx - A713486
Author: Kaz - U188578
I feel this would be good for use in the edited guide because I enjoy Richard Marx's music and would like to share my information about it with others. As he is not a hugely well known artist in the UK, I also feel that it would be a useful resource for someone who is purposefully looking for information on his music, and not just for those to read out of curiosity.

l'm no longer in Peer Review. But l had to say l always liked his music. A Great performer that's almost lost to history. If not for your entry on this subject.

That's a nice Entry there. A little short compared to some, but it has all the information anyone would need, plus a link to the official website for further reading.
Although it's not essential for an Entry to get through Peer Review, you might want to try to create the Entry in GuideML (check the help pages, which can be found at the top of every page). It'll make the entry look nicer and allow you to link directly to Marx's site. iF that's a little scary for you, someone else will sub-edit it into GuideML if the Entry gets picked.
Richard Marx isn't that well-known in the UK, apart from some of his early, simplistic ballads. But I always adored 'Hazzard'. The harmonies on that are awesome.
Best of luck!

Thank you very much.
Its nice to find a few other people who actually know who he is!
I don't know much about the Guide ML stuff. In fact my knowlege of the internet, though reasonably good, is probably peanuts to the people on here! I wish I knew how to jazz up my homepage a bit more, with those orange subheads and stuff. Is that Guide ML?

It's honestly fairly easy to pick up. I managed to pick it up in a day, just by looking at other Entries and following the help sections. (and if in doubt, ask!)
I'll keep my eye on this Entry, it'll be fun to see how it progresses. Well done!

You've got the occasional bit of first person style in there, but that's easy to change:
"I personally feel that Richard" --> 'This researcher feels...'
"contains what I would describe" --> 'what can be described as...'
and the spelling of SheDaisy shouldn't be too difficult to check
anyway, all minor points, and well done

You're right. Maybe that whole bit ought to be rephrased, like: 'Richard also has great poetic talent....<quote>'
Hmm. Dunno. what do you think?
I'll go back on the site and check up sheDaisy. I just wasn't sure where the CAPITALS went!

Hello everyone!
I'm just dropping in to let you know that I'm Subbing this entry at A756227, and that it's coming along smoothly, or seems to be. If anybody would like to drop by and see what I'm doing, please feel free. If anybody has any comments, corrections or complaints they'd like to make before this goes to the Front Page, now would be a great time to register those, and this thread would be a perfectly acceptable place to do it. After... probably this weekend, when I get it sent in, any further matters should be raised at the new entry, rather than here.
Kaz - have you found the note I left on your page?

Yep!
You're doing a great job. Thanks.
I was going to make the changes that some people mentioned in Peer Review before the entry got selected. But, college work beckoned. Also, I didn't know whether I'd have to resubmit the entry if I made changes to it after putting it into Peer Review (and I can't write GuideML to save my life, so thanks!).
I suppose I should've checked all the spellings before I put it in the first place. silly me.(I could've sworn Kenny Rogers spelt his name with a d, but I've just checked it and you're right!)
Speak soon
Kaz.

I think it's done. I'm just going to send it on in now, and if anything else comes up, somebody let me know, and I'll tug on the appropriate Editorial sleeve.
, and thanks again, Kaz, for the great entry!

(Oh, for future reference, you *can* change entries in PR without having to resubmit them.)
