TEA SHIRT
FairlyStrange Posted Jun 28, 1999
It's been my experience around here that one had best not assume anything....it can be downright dangerous!

Tea? Tea? What is this with English and the love of tea? I mean, tea's nice, but every day? At the same time?

Don't ask me because I can't stand the stuff. Have you tried drinking it English fashion i.e hot with milk rather than cold and icy?
TEA SHIRT
Caleb Posted Jul 1, 1999
I'm not that fond of tea (as an American, what else would you expect?) I have tasted tea before, and liked one flavor (something along the lines of cinnamon-flavored tea), and I've soaked papers in tea before (school project). Anything else? Nope! Except that one time...

tea sucks - drink hot chocolate
unless the tea is iced and peach flavoured, then you can hardly tell that it is tea
TEA
FairlyStrange Posted Jul 1, 1999
Having tea English fashion is considered, at least around here, to be a sign of culture. I find that idea somewhat ironic.....for Pete's sake! This is Alabama!
Although I was not born here, I WAS raised here, and I do like the English style tea( it's much better than the cold, bitter stuff most people around here prefer), but as it is with most folks from this part of the world, I could never be accused of having culture! I mean, what would my friends think?
You have culture!
Caleb Posted Jul 3, 1999
You have culture! You have culture! (etc.) Sorry, I couldn't resist.
You have culture!
msmonsy Posted Jul 3, 1999
nah!!!, don't let him fool you! he has no culture . i happen to know fairly strange personally ( and by the way, the name fits him to a tea!)( pardon that pun there! ) and one thing i can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt is that HE HAS NO CULTURE!!!!!!!!!!
You have culture!

I do appreciate your protecting my reputation, monshari! I,m only glad none of my friends around here use the internet (most have only just recently mastered the telephone!) If caleb's accusations got out I would be ostracized from the community..........actually , that might not be such a bad thing!)
