some people think it's too cool... IMHO when it's a hot summer there is no such thing as a house that is too cool..

Batty the last time we had a real long hot summer was in 1976. I remember because there were a lot of ladbybirds, bumblebees and butterflies.

Thinker - we're lucky.. the summers and winters are short and the springs and autumns are long, and hot stretches rarely last more than a few days. I've only lived here a few years but I have to say the weather is worth getting used to.

We had a hot spell for a couple days but today is already overcast with a few sprinkles flying about.. good news for the man digging around in my gardens this morning, probably not so much for the granite guys coming today..
