I went to the movies last night. I went with my parents and my brother to see Ice Age 2. The two kids sitting behind me wouldn't SHUT UP!

Batty, I bet the movies were much nicer than my so called 'holidays'. I went to see my parents, which meant a six hours drive each way

I have decided that my husband and I will go and watch X -Men 3 - not so sure about the Da vinci code - I really enjoyed the book , but the film has got quite bad criticism

Me neither.. though occasionally the movie is better than the book..
I liked it though. It was fairly true to the book - though admittedly it's been a long time since I read it and it is blending with the previous book, Angels and Demons, in my mind..

Well, if it's been a while since you read the book it should be ok. I think I'll rather go and watch the X-Men

The comic ? Is there a comic on which this is based ?

Batty_ACE Posted May 28, 2006
Yes... the X-Men are comic book characters... and also an animated series..

I didn't know that , but then I never 'read' comics. Only exceptions were Asterix and Rin Tin Tin ( I think that's his English name)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
