Oh dear Annie! I really didn't think you were being sarcastic at all! I think I must have misunderstood your question. Sorry about that. Well, what I like with my grilled polenta, as I said, is a rich tomato sauce. What I do is get a load of fresh toms, a load of garlic, slice up a couple of peppers, maybe a courgette and an onion, and slowly cook them all down for ages on a low heat. I also add a bit of wine to the mixture and a hearty knob of butter. I might well add fresh herbs from the garden a bit later on, too. Oh, and loads of salt andd pepper. Maybe a couple of chillis to liven it up a bit. And I honestly didn't think you were being sarcastic - I was just being a bit thick, that's all.
