Impossible Problemo

I realise this conversation is somewhat out of date but sadly (for me) the problem isn't (out of date, that is.)
Of course I'm on about the "Telewest digibox cookie" problem. Is it STILL impossible, as the title implies? I was directed here by Emmily (who 1st asked this question) after a little conversation last week. At this point (if I knew how!) I'd post a link to that conversation (IF... etc) so the best I can do is say its on the "Friends Of Leisure District" page under the phonetic title of "HAYULP" (yes, it seemed funny at the time, ok?)
Any new advice would be appreciated.
