Hairdressing in Todmorden

In the northern town of Todmorden (locally called Tod) we have arguably one of the best: Sweeney's of Tod

I've seen others on the internet: Hairmale, Three Shears, The Godbarber

Also, while I've never noticed the double-name thing (except the almost ubiquitous Tony & Guy) I have noticed that 90% of female hairdressers are yclept Karen, Kaeren, Kirsten, Kirsty, Kelly, Keeley etc. etc. (and the other 10%, Tiffany). Has anyone else noticed this Karenocentric trend?

That's outstanding Tom of Tod smiley - winkeye

I have to admit my hairdresser is a lass called Kirsty but I'd previously put it down to the Sharon-Tracy-Kylie trend amongst young women with a desire to be hairdressers/footballers wives. I may have to reflect upon this a bit.

I've updated the entry smiley - ok

I don't know if this is of interest: http://www.ronsens.de/39.html

It's a similar list in German (there are also some English and DE/EN crossbreeds)... I just accidentally found it.

Haarem and Haarlekin are rather good... I have to admit that Kaiserschnitt and Kopfsalat just confuse me.
