misplaced/misnamed blobs (again)
SEF Started conversation Mar 13, 2003
There are still a couple of glaring errors remaining unfixed from my previous thread's list.
Wotchit's fissure diagram (B2845003) has been put under "Pictures: Home" (A443819) as "A wintry kitchen". It should be under the science section and the intended kitchen blob might be B2728112.
I think the description of "Baby looking up a woman's skirt" for B62387 under "Pictures: Human Behaviour - General" (A426340) probably says more about the mental state of the person writing the ALT text than it does about the picture. "Baby biting woman's leg" would be more accurate.
I also found a few lost blobs not in the gallery, eg the Monty Python parrot sketch, some geese, a lovely mouse, a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri etc. Is anyone interested?

Just out of interest, any chance you could tell me the blob number for the parrot sketch?

I did post a message under the correct Monty Python page but it seemed no-one was subscribed. It is blob number B75053. If your interest is just in parrots rather than Monty Python then there is another one of those as a moving tattoo.

It's in Monty Python, don't worry (and it's now on my PS)

Perhaps it's not in the library because it dates from the goo-only days and therefore there is no white version.

Except there is (take a look at my PS)

The white version is just a copy of the blue version. It has been antialiased to goo although the background is transparent. That's why it looks a little jaggied.

SEF, thanks very much for these and I've fixed them now in accordance with your suggestions.

If you know where you saw these and if you can get me the blob numbers, I'll put them in the library.
Thanks.

Amy doesn't seem to approve of the parrot.
The mouse is B105860, the small furry creature (with goggles in a tank) is B118235, the geese are B191339 and there was a nice animated labelled cockroach B113282 and another static one B113504 - it was probably a millennium bug thing.
I've been keeping track of the B-numbers of all the ones I ran into which weren't in the gallery but not always where/which page. I didn't think it mattered.
There are lots more. I was thinking of starting a page for anyone with a specific back-dated image request.

If you're into cute stuff, try the cherub at B373497.
If you prefer yucky stuff, try this one at B278191.
