ok I'm currently looking at a banner at the top of this screen saying "you decide what goes into the Guide" yet I currently can't read this article coz it's being restricted for content by the mods...wotz the deal with that.....does this mean I can't create my "a guide to offensive jokes and naughty words" article that I've been planning....

Probably not.

Have you read the Short Guide, which is linked from my User Space?

(I can't link to it from here - the link is only allowed by special dispensation).

Anyway - as you can see from the backlog - the Short Guide was originally written about a year ago as a protest against the moderation policies of the BBC.

It is a long story, but it is finally being considered by the Beeb, but it is going through the full Editorial Policy. I had emailed and spoken with Peta quite a bit about it first.

Anyway - read the Short Guide on Geocities, and good luck with your entry.

I was of course being sarcastic about my planned article...I'm sure I could come up with one though....

offensive jokes are never a problem...

sorry but while browsing your user space I noticed you said you don't watch TV and don't own a working set....I therefor must dismiss you as TV is my God and my religion requires it....heathen!

:o)

No problem.

We all worship different shrines.

Actually, my new sofas are being delivered on Wednesday, and then I will have something to sit on while watching TV.

Couch-potato-dom here I come.

yay! I'm only half a tvist. I still need a widescreen tv and surround sound system before I become a full devotee of the religion...although I am the high priest of TVism so it's really up to me what the rules are...
