The h2g2 Poem: Who Are We?

1 Conversation

Who Are We?

We are but grains of sand, in the vastness of the universe.

Blown by the winds of space, on a journey never able to finish.

For we are bent on self-destruction, aided by mother nature herself.

Mankind in all his so-called wisdom, has thrown the balance in disarray.

The quest for greed and power robs him of his self-dignity.

Always blinded to the needs of others, he will kill many who stand in his way.

But take thought for the future, mankind, when one day you will cease to exist.

No one to read your historical legacy, nothing but dust will remain in your place.
