Errr... you're not one of the people involved who's taking exception to this lurid retelling are you?
I suspect this'll be a bi-weekly piece as I'd hate to be seen to be trying to take over the Post by stealth.
Thanks for the vote of confidence (I think).

Oh... well... (Where's Jeremy Beadle? ~glances round suspiciously~)
Shazz, I know you're lurking in here somewhere... would you mind if I plop out Adventures in Cinema on a weekly basis until these guys get bored with it (free time permitting, of course - I've got Trolls to paint 'n' all sorts)? It'll get it over with quicker, too...
Isn't it the Paper Edition/100th Issue next week, anyway? Aren't we pushed for space?

Awix.... shhh!!!!!!!
I would be happy to serialise it weekly most definitely!
The edition you refer to is due on 31st January... and the other one the weekend before... there is no reason why your episode can't be in one but not the other, if you catch my drift?

Oh. I thought the paper edition was coming out on the 17th. I was all set to do the research for my thing about the HHGG movie. New review called for, then.
Just to confirm, the *publication* data of the Paper edition is the 31st, yes?
In which case I shall bow to public demand (such as it is) and have another episode ready for next week's post...

Do you mean the Post Editions thing? Yes indeed, that's where I thought I'd got it from. Hang on...
'I think we need to have all offerings for the paper edition through by the 18th January to give me a chance to collate them,' said Shazz in an e-group posting. Ay caramba!
So let's just get this straight: stuff for the Post coming out next Thursday (ie, the 17th) should be in by Wednesday the 16th. But, stuff for the paper edition needs to be in by Friday the 18th.
Looks like a busy week, but then again I'll get a week off somewhere down the line...
My brain hurts. Next time we do this can we have a diagram or something please?

Don't worry,it's not Dark Secrets Of Which Man Was Not Meant To Know, it's just a vaguely embarrassing insight into the mentality of the H2G2 Post crew...

Correct in all instances Awix
I need to get the copy in so that I can work out the best layout... plus, of course, I have a small matter of having a little travelling to do, probably on the 25th!
So... normal post next Thursday (17th) and the Thursday after(24th)... but the items for the paperpost need to arrive early to allow time for collation, printing etc... The ppost will be (hopefully!) available on the 26th, with a duplication available on Thursday 31st online.
Quite right Parferris... you read nothing, you know nothing!!!

I just came by to say "more" as the thread is headed, but it obviously headed somewhere else...
Anyway, Awix, I await further instalments.
A most interesting tale.
One might almost believe it's partially true.
One certainly wonders where it's going.

Hard to believe I know, but it is true - more or less. Most names have been changed to protect the innocent, and some of the events might not have happened in exactly this order, and obviously the dialogue isn't verbatim, but I promise you I'm not making it up.

Yeah, make up is a highly specialised artform/skill. I figured you to be more the Ist AD or key grip type. So far we still don't know what it is you get to do in this S-VHS production and we're bursting to hear MORE.
