A Conversation for 25 things you shouldn't do when drunk

Golf , Beer, and the Infantryman

Here's a suggestion from my own experience...

When golfing, it is customary to drink. For a Grunt, it is quite sensible to drink at any time, as it often makes things much more fun...

HOWEVER: Should your drunken friend charge at you with a golf cart, DO NOT charge back at him on foot (or even in another golf cart). You may get lucky the first time (I did), but if you scare the potzer driving at you(the second time), he may lose his nerve and swerve.

THE GOOD NEWS: it's been 10 months since I broke my leg in 2 places FRICKIN GOLFING(!) and I can walk fairly well, but not quite run.

THE BAD NEWS: I did it right before I was to deploy to the Phillippines for a few months of real pay ($8000+), then my unit draws Small Boat for the MEU(cool stuff), and I get a DESK JOB in another unit with those Happy Shiny people I hate(Marine Corps Leadership I) and all I want to do is sleep in a poncho, dirty and stinky, with my arm around a belt-fed machinegun...

Oh, and they won't quick give you a peg leg so you can go kick butt with the guys, even if you ask...
