Good to see this in peer review - my only substantive comment would be to run this through a spell checker, as there are a few errors.
Sunday is traditionally a slow day, so don't be surprised if it takes a while to get a response.
I'd be interested to hear what everyone else thinks about the plot summary section. I think it's important to explain the kind of comedy that J&W is - I suppose it's farce really. I wonder if this is the right way to do it. It might be worth adding a paragraph to explain the common elements - overcomplicated plots which go wrong, misunderstandings etc.

Oops, I'll put it through the spell check right now.
yeah, the plot summary thing is mainly what I want feedback on.
and the last part about putting in a thing about the common elements, I thought sort of did? I was pretty sure that....maybe I'll have to look again, I can't even remember what I wrote!

That common elements thing was what I was trying to get at in the WW, 42.
Aside from summarising the plot of one story, what things *always* happen in *every* story?

You were? Oh, sorry, I must not understood you completley.

and besides, I pretty much DO have a little part like that. There's a little paragraph just before it goes into the summary. Maybe it could use a little more detail, if that's what you are saying, but you sound like I have totally neglated to explain that particular aspect.

I wasn't intending to sound like that at all!

Sorry I havn't posted in a few days.
But I was wondering if anyone knew if How Right You Are, Jeeves, and Jeeves in the Offing are the same books with US/UK titles? Because I'm reading HRYA,J right now and the copyright date was 1960, and on the list of the J&W books at the bottom of my entry has one from that year, and I thought maybe there were the same but I wasn't sure, but anyway, I would like to include both US/UK titles on that list....

No, it's possible that two books could have been released in the same year. They are short, after all. I looked on Project Gutenberg and couldn't find either title, though. Maybe you could find Jeeves in the Offing and ascertain as to whether it's the same book?

Wyatt Posted Nov 20, 2005
Okay, i looked up J in the O and Amazon, and there was an excerpt, and it was the same as How Right YOu are Jeeves, so they are the same.

Hi again, i haven't got anything to say, other than I'm OK and not dead or anything like that you might be worryed about, since I haven't posted in a really long time. And i wanted to post here to bring this forum back up towards the top of the list so people will see it. Even though that's not likely, because only two people have ever posted here, and I'm really disapointed about that Oh well.
I finished How Right You Are, Jeeves a few weeks ago it was a pretty good one.

It's weird. Somehow this thread just got bypassed. I'm mildly annoyed.

I'm confused, too. Because I thought that there would be loads of Wodehouse fans on this site, but so far, it's just you and Otto Fisch...

All I can say is, keep bumping it up the list every couple of days by posting to the thread. You can do this:
*bump*
Or you could be more polite by saying, "Does anyone else have something to add?" or something like that.

Do you fancy having a go at putting it into GuideML? It's pretty easy, and we can talk you through it
You can start off by clicking on the GuideML button when you edit your entry, and then putting round each paragraph, and round each header. It'll make it look much better!
Don't worry if GuideML seems too complicated for you, you don't have to put the entry into GuideML for it to be picked, but it's a good chance to learn how!

Oh, good, here's someone else!
I am meaning to do GML, but I just haven't gotten 'round to it yet. But I will read the instructions carefully once I'm in the mood, and I'll post here if I have a problem or a question.

RFJS__ - trying to write an unreadable book, finding proofreading tricky Posted Nov 30, 2005
Just a short point for now: I recall one Jeeves story in which Jeeves, rather than Bertie, is the narrator, although since I don't curently have the books to hand I can't check which. It might be good to note the existence of this exceptional case.
