I don't suppose you know how to create a lookup table or table-array in Microsoft Excel??

I want to put tab stops in to space out text in a posting. Any ideas how??

Err normally I'd use CSS margins but h2g2 doesnt have css

Try using the following code:

(length of tab break in spaces here) text text text. At the end of your text place


The pre tag makes the text the browser display look exactly like the text you put in. Normally if you put in:

"Hi

My

Name

is

CK"

. its would display as:

"Hi my name is CK." but the pre tag makes the text the browser shows, go in exactly the same place as you put it in the text box. Confused by me?

If the pre tag doesnt work any more in guideml the following code makes 1 space in html so use it a number of times side by side to create your tab break
