Typing faster than you can see; hmmmm...
The areas for praxis I think - coordination of movement, with a few visual pathways thrown in

Hi, Witty Ditty!
I'm still catching up on the backlog built up by a week's holiday and another very busy week at work, so I've only seen the very latest version.
I think it's great: the overall balance is really good and the technical stuff is nicely explained. Well done!
I only have one problem, and this is mostly because you've strayed into what is one of my pet peeves, which is all that seventh-planet 'women are from Venus' stuff. I know that studies show that on average, men's visuo-spatial ability is better than women's, but the pop version of this makes no allowance for the spread of the data. As an example, suppose 10% of women and 20% of men are lousy at map-reading, and the distribution of the rest of the range is the same for men and women: while the average man will be better than the average woman, it will also be true that most women are perfectly competent map-readers. This is a sore point with me, because I used to know a few orienteers who competed on an international level - telling any of them that women were no good at map-reading was a guaranteed way to infuriate them.
On a pop-psychology level, it may seem fairly harmless: my problem is that it can end up producing the same sexist arguments in a different guise. Intead of telling girls 'You can't be a surgeon (or a pilot, or a surveyor) because it's not a suitable job for a woman', people are saying 'you can't be a surgeon (or a pilot, or a surveyor) because everyone knows women don't have the required visuo-spatial ability.' Same old story, different words!
To appease my ruffled feelings, please insert a few more 'on average', 'usually', 'mostly' and 'proportionately more' words and phrases in suitable places in that section.
Azara
(who never had any problem with the maps when she went orienteering, just with the idea that she had to *run* rather than stroll!)

Hiya!
I know - I was taking the actually... but maybe I wasn't being obvious enough...
Some headlines of newspapers at the time when this evidence came to light did really misquote and misrepresented the evidence to conclude just that... hence my little jibe back at them Hence the 'women have no sense of direction and men have a one track mind' fragment... I thought I was satirising both genders equally... but I'll change it - I was a bit wary of it, and then there was a part of me who said 'what the hell'
I can actually read maps better than my dad. Proof of this is of course, sucessfully directing him through a part of Central London which I had never been to, at rush hour.
And, no, I wouldn't let it go for a week And yes, he was fed up to the back teeth with me
Off to change it now...
Any further comments, as always, gratefully received!

Hi, Witty Ditty!
Taking the ? that's a relief! I've just been caught too many times assuming deadpan humour when someone is completely serious: 'It's because I'm a Libra!'....I collapse in tears of mirth, then wipe my eyes.....to be greeted by a stony silence and realise I've put my foot in it again.....
Anyway, for Guide entries, that is one of the things that doesn't always work for non-native speakers of English, so I do think you're better to make a few changes!
Good luck,
Azara

Great!
I know some people just over all the 'allegedly' words, but I'm a lot more comfortable when they're there.
A small extra point - there's an entry on Epilepsy (by Amy Pawlowski(sp?)) which was recommended in the last couple of months. If the sub-editor's version is up at this stage you could link to it - by the time this entry gets to a sub-ed I imagine that the Epilepsy one will have made it to the Front Page.
Stay yourself - particularly important if there are exams coming up!

Forgot about searching for related entries!
Will pop that in now!
Thanks for the good luck message! This topic will be in my exam, hence why I put it here, it forces me to read through it, and revise it every time!
Thanks again!
