Smij - Formerly Jimster Posted Jul 6, 2005
She was an actress first, y'know - and a very good one. She was in the very creepy Armchair Thriller series 'Quiet as a Nun' and played the foundling in Silas Marner.
Course, her defining role is as Pats in Bo' Selector.

Au contraire, she was a bl**dy awful wannabe pop star first.
I had the misfortune of seeing her band, Eigth Wonder murder, I mean play a set at Sunderland Poly while I was there.

"Patsey Kensit; as divisive among Who fans as Colin Baker".
Somehow I don't think that's going to be teh strap line for her next project.

Paully Posted Jul 6, 2005
Actually, Blueshark, the acting is waaaay before Eighth Wonder. But surely "I'm Not Scared" is an 80s pop classic?!

Agreed.
The woman who plays Chrissie Watts should get an award.
And Letitia Dean should get jammy git of the year award for getting to snog Den Jnr. every episode and still get paid.
Oh, finally something to look forward to on Friday nights! Doctor Who Season One repeats!

Patsy Kensit was a child actress she was the kid in the Pea (Pod went pop) advert in the seventies, she was also Mel Gibson's love interest in Lethal Weapon 2, her South African accent was on a par with Dick van Dyke's 'Cockney'

From the BBC Doctor Who website:
"[It] started as a mistake on the Psalm board in episode 8, and became a bit of misleading fun."

I haven't seen the original article. The Sun asks you to *pay* for articles from previous editions, and I'm damned if I'm paying for that rag!

Did you see Chris Ecclestone on the "Pride of Britain" show, poor lad had to stand on the edge of the stage while they "beamed" him in.
