Traveller in Time peeking through the observation camera
"Gwen goes out again, sees Rhys, the couple kisses and walks out of range, Captain Jack watches it with mixed confidence, his fingers of both jands touching "

Jemstone Posted Feb 10, 2008
Rhys didn't take the pill and Gwen refused to give it to him. Jack is letting her get away with it (for now). If Rhys screws up by letting the secret slip, the Reton can always be given at a later date I guess.

Traveller in Time glad HooToo is back
"This one was marvellous, completely forgotten what it was about, but it must have been great . "

Can't wait for next weeks. Torchwood is the best sci-fi since Farscape.

Which epidode are we talking about BBC2s' or BBC3s' which is next weeks BBC2. Don't want to be accused of spoling.

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Feb 14, 2008
I'm very wary of talking about BBC3's "cheat" advance, I wouldn't talk about it in the thread, most of them only have BBC2. Chat away but use a

Sorry, bit of a hair trigger on that one. I meant to (and in fact did) post a link to the Torchwood spoilers thread but also point out to researchers that the thread existed.
I tend to watch the 'next week's' episodes of things on BBC3(like Spooks) but it can become confusing spoilerwise so, my advice would be, if you're not sure if you're spoilering or not, post on the spoiler thread
Leave this thread for discussions of the most recent wednesday's broadcast on BBC2.
Sound reasonable?

Traveller in Time watched the 'repeat' of Adam last night
"I had the idea the 'early in the evening' version would be a bit more decent . Well, ok I missed most of it but what I have seen included the rape, can not say this is a reduced version in any way. "

Traveller in Time wiping some relatively harmless mosquitos
"This one was brilliant, not too much 'adult' stuff, just pure action, science fiction and a little modern detective work.
Reset. "

Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Feb 21, 2008
Yes, loved it, I watched the Brits though, I watched Reset last week...but caught the "making of" ten mins

Mister Matty Posted Feb 21, 2008
I thought "Reset" was okay. Not up to the standard of "Adam" but perfectly acceptable for what's been, so far, a much-improved series.

Well I thought #7 was rubbish. #5 and #6 were looking up, but this was a return to plots that make no sense (just why was Owen walking about dead?), effects so bad they had to be sheathed in black smoke (the whatever it was) or kept out of shot wherever possible (Martha's face) and the use of inappropriate technical terms with wild abandon (exactly why would an injection of formaldehyde "freeze dry" a brain????)

Jozcoz Posted Feb 28, 2008
I thought it was quite good actually, on the other thread, we liked the fact that death was shrouded in smoke so you couldn't actually see it...

Can I be the first to say that the series finale was a bit crap?
The bloke who played Grey couldn't act which took all the emotional impact out of his story, Captain John (a character I like) was largely wasted, it didn't make sense that Jack was emotionally-unscarred from what Grey put him through and somehow the big shock developments managed to lack the impact they should have had.
A far far better series overall but fizzled out at the end.
Key: Complain about this post
