Nah that is 2009, we get a full series next year with Catherine Tate (hoo-effing-ray smiley - blue) then a hiatus with specials the following year and another proper series 2010.

RTD shot himself in the foot really with the Judoon, because they are very similar, basically cloned fighters.

The film only seems speculated upon by fans. I don't think I've ever seen anything from the BBC suggesting a film is likely. In fact, wasn't the on/off nature of a film one thing that was preventing them relaunching the show a few years ago? It was only because Lorraine Heggessey withdrew the film rights from whoever had them that they were able to come back on TV.

Just before the launch of series 2 RTD said he want's to do a film, and Tennant said he would also be happy to do it...

I know it's an unpopular choice, but I would love to see the Film with Paul McGann, put some sense to it all.

Definitely. It could be called 'The Time War'. Preferably, I'd like to see a TV mini-series that fills in some of the blamks and explains at least some of the time war.

(Oh, and I'd love to see the McGann/Ecclestone regeneration) smiley - smiley

Who says it's an unpopular choice? From what I can gather, McGann's doctor was popular with rank-and-file fans even if the TV Movie wasn't (rightly so, imho.

I agree McGann should be in any film (albeit in flashbacks or as a secondary doctor, not as the main character for obvious reasons) largely to fill that regeneration gap in the series overall story.

This has been covered somwhere else, we don't think Eccleston wants anything to do with Who for a while...
