Also at the end when Martha's sat in her bedroom you can hear on the radio 'This proves Mr. Saxon is right, there are aliens out there', or something along those lines.

Well the lads from "Life on Mars" said whilst on Soccer AM that John Simm couldn't come on because he was off being filmed for Dr Who as "The Master".....

According to wikipedia (so big pinches of salt please) Mister Saxon is an anagram of Master no six. It goes on to say that John Simm would indeed be the sixth actor to play the master (allthough given he has had more than six regenerations that does not seem to make that much sense).

... and while that's a handy anagram, it's also a) coincidence and b) wrong, because seven actors have been credited with playing the Master on TV.
