Hii`ve got another thing to add to the smiley ideas listits a smiley. Its not just for me though i`ve a group of people wanting one. A14411017

"Cheese (of varying types)" used to be on the smiley ideas list page before it was closed (a few years back) and then hacked down to a small number.

PS I've been trying for about an hour to show you an earlier verion of the page. But the wayback machine appears to be dead. So I'm giving up and posting this delayed reply and you'll just have to take my word for it!

Well it was certainly a "no" the last few times they changed the list or added new smileys. It isn't necessarily always going to be a "no" though. Are you expecting me to mind-read what they'll add and when, if at all?

Yes.By the way we`ve got a few more members than when i first posted here wanting a smiley.And no i didn`t force them to join.

Before pledging allegiance quite so readily, perhaps you should check that you are all talking about the same sort of cheese.

Jarlsberg looks the part, but anything except crotch or cottage! (which are the same anyway)

Ah the relatively tall with waxy rind and bubbles/craters kind rather than the relatively flat and uniform with white encrusting kind or the colourful veiny kind or the barely set at all kind.

I think that Swiss would be the easiest type to identify as cheese and not a slice of cake.

If it is to be a wheel then maybe edam would be easily identified? I think if it's a wedge then it must have holes in it or it will look like cake.
