*wonders if it's appropriate to put in a request for more 'suitable for vegetarians' food*
Otherwise it's back to the liquid lunch and supper.

I reckon it'd be more community friendly to pay for a round or two of Drinks and let us sort out our own food - or lack thereof......
And what's happened to CAMRT??? I personally would like to see Time being called less often.....

Well they only eat salad all day long dont they? Whereas any self respecting vegetarian knows that real food is what life is all about, as opposed to salad, which is just not very exciting compared to the proper foodstuffs that veggies eat whenever they find a non salad veggie option. I dont even like salads that much myself....

I like salad, but the only veggie food I could find at the London meet was bits of sweet peppers, carrots and lettuce. Not really substantial enough pre- which is probably why I felt so
next day (and for most of the following week!) Hadn't had any lunch either, as I'd been travelling and only arrived at BBC Experience with 20 mins to spare, and worried I'd miss people!
Looks like Indian could be on the menu for SMEG. fords knows a good place.

*whispers: you should pay attention to the community events page young man*
SMEG is the Scottish Xmas
meet in Glasgow on 24th November, all researchers welcome: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A641891
It is also preceeded the evening before by a mini-meet in Manchester: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A643943 after which several researchers will be travelling to Glasgow from Manchester together the next day, should you be interested in either or both.

No one's said anything... Maybe I should head over to the other threads (for the other meets), and ask there...

Good idea, your question might have been lost in the back log... Best to get someone who is going to the manchester mini meet, as that is the first one coming up; and then it can be taken to the Glasgow meet, and if it survives to the London meet
and who knows where else after that?
pity you didn't make it to the Dutche meet
goodnight
I'm off to bed
in a moment probably
