A beginners guide to queuing for the uninitiated. Would be grateful for any comments.

Good job An interesting topic and well worth researching it.
My only concern (or non-concern) is that there's already an entry in the Guide: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A155927 . The non-concern is that you should be heading over to the h2g2 Update HQ http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A496451 rather than Peer Review. It'll earn you an entry in your 'Edited entry' still

I found that edited guide entry before I started writing and referenced it in my own. I thought the two entries were sufficiently different for two separate entries to be valid. I'm not sure now though, what do other people think? I'm open to suggestions. I've already had suggestions on telephone queuing and queue rage put to me by other people so they'll be added too. Would that make the two entries combined too long?

Upon further contemplation, IMHO it's a 50/50 case. The other entry by far isn't complete, hence you stand a chance of getting yours in as an entry of its own.
Just a suggestion: you could team with Lucinda who still hasn't finished the theoretical entry about queuing systems, http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A452873. Either way I'd say you should give it a try on PR!

Bossel, old chum Can I pick your brain? I've polished off the guide entry and would like to know what you think of the completed article. The bit in italics is a quote from Angelfeet. I want to credit the quote to her but I'm not sure how I should do it. I tried by putting her in the researcher box at the bottom but then the writing and researching of the entry became credited to her and I was credited as the editor. Any suggestions? What's the usual way of quoting another researcher?

The quoting is absolutely correct It's a little design flaw that the owner of the entry shows up as its editor when an entry has not yet made its way into the Edited Guide. The Towers are aware of that, and it'll change with the next h2g2 internal software update!
As to the contents, I'll get back to that later, as I have to leave for work in a couple of minutes

So here's what I think of the entry: it's in the wrong place.
It should be in the PR waiting queue instead
