I didn't.
But I intend to rectify the problem as soon as car has been safely deposited at some point in Glasgow for the next 24 hours.

BTW.. How long do these games each last for? The standard games here in Sweden (Oh, I'm in Sweden at the moment) are 20 minutes, but they are flexible with that, so we'll go for a training session of LQ where we'll go 2x30 mins with about a 5 min break between the two sessions. And also, will we be doing teams or just everyone for themselves? Mind you, I've never played LQ in Scotland before...

I tend to prefer the every man for himself games, but that's mostly because I just shoot indiscriminantly at anything that moves
P.S. It was a physics joke, don't worry that you didn't get it)

how about worrying because you think you did get it?

*looks sleepily*
If you're randomy shooting do you mind if I ummm...just hide in a corner? Ooh if we don't get shot but don't shoot anything at all can we win?

20 minutes, everyone for themselves.. Sounds fine by me.
Tink, I would think that you have a very miniscule chance of winning if you don't get shot and don't shoot anyone. You tend to get more points than you lose if you run about, shooting randomly at anything that moves.

So hiding in a corner squealings not the best way to go about it then?
Right then I'll play properly but be warned things like this bring out my worst side, I have a tendency to get ultra competative and will run round Lara Croft/Buffy stylee randomly high kicking walls and stuff...My new uni mates have even banned me from playing air hockey and ping pong

Thanks fords. Total for LQ now stands at 15.
I booked it this afternoon. Game times are as follows:
(I'll add this to the page later when I have more time)
Game 1: 15.30 hrs
Game 2: 15.50 hrs
Break for 20 mins
Game 3: 16.30 hrs
Each game lasts for 20 mins. This then gives those who want to time to get freshened up if so desired

Hmmm, must remember spare T-Shirt or something for this. Otherwise I'll be well smelly in the pub. ... Well more than usual anyway

Babel, will there be facilities to freshen up on-site at the LQ arena, or will it be a question of getting hold of a shower on ones own afterwards? Cause if we'll run the 3 games within an hour of each other, I would say we'll be in need of showers. And.. Well.. Over here (in Sweden, not in GNK) there are Changing/shower facilities available on-site for those that require it.

I didn't notice any while I had a quick look, when I went in to get the info on it. sorry.
Perhaps Munchers will allow you to use his at the Ibis?
As to getting hold of a shower on ones own, well, my friend, that is entirely up to you.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Well, I'm sure I could let you use my hotel shower, for a small fee. We'll have to see who wants, and how nice they have been to me
