Hi Gnomon!
Congratulations on the recommendation. Well deserved!
I found the quotation attached to a picture of the Threshold stone and thought you might like to know about it - you may already have seen it and decided against it.
Thanks for the info about Aonghus the Magician. I hadn't heard of him before and I'll have a look out for him now.

Hi, I'm GTBacchus, and I'll be your SubEditor this evening.
Hello, Gnomon, let me first add my congratulations to these others. Up to your usual high standards, I see. What are you trying to do, make my job easy?
Oh, let's see... here's the new URL:

Feel free to drop by. I've basically finished editing it. I didn't have to do a whole heck of a lot, of course. I'm glad you got rid of 'turves' because I wouldn't have understood it (cool word, though). I had enough trouble making sure that 'cairn' was just a synonym for 'mound'. That word really doesn't occur much in American English - I only knew it from the Chronicles of Narnia!
I noticed the link to the Great Pyramid Entry - what a piece of work! Who wrote that? Who edited it? They sure knew what they were doing!
Ok, enough of that. If you have any last minute business, tell me quickly - I'll probably send this back into the towers tomorrow. And from there, only a hop, skip and a jump to the coveted Front Page!
Oh, one thing I can tell you about here: special characters are not allowed in Entry Titles until a certain bug is fixed in a future release. So for now, the title of the Entry will be about the Tombs of Bru na Boinne, no accents. Within the body of the Entry, they can stay, of course. Sorry about that. It's in Jim's inbox, along with...

Thanks, GTBacchus. I haven't got any last minute qualms about this one. Off with it! But it is a pity about those accents.

Ok, super! Once more over it with the ol' finetooth, and off it goes!
Whenever they fix the accent bug (next release, probably), I'll remind the towers about this one and one other entry where I had the same problem. Apparently the problem is that, in certain views, like on the Front Page, the entity codes don't work and you end up with ampersands and semicolons everywhere.
