There's a space smiley now! I missed that. It was suggested a while back to help separate things that couldn't be separated with a normal space. I can't remember what kind of things that was though...

F47998?thread=222919 is an example of where it might be needed. It was already on the list by the time that was posted, but i cant find the original request. Basicly, as manda said, it is so you can have multiple spaces.

Ah, I just noticed a flaw with the < space > smiley...
If you look at my "snail" post above in Goo, it's perfect; in Brunel it leans to the right. There was a lot of talk about making the smiley the same width as a space; that means you need different versions of it for Brunel and Goo (I haven't tried Alibaster yet) as they have different font widths, hence different space widths.
