It does mean I can get the latest Grimsby Town scores anywhere I am in the world so not a complete waste of money. In fact, once I cleaned the coffee grounds off it I found all sorts of uses for it. Shame not to include H2G2 in that list though.

"We're now able to unveil the URL for the h2g2 mobile service ahead of its official launch on 21 April.
To access the service from an appropriate mobile device, go to www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/h2g2 or, if you're in the UK, text 'h2g2' to 81010.
Says Tony Ageh, BBC Controller, Internet: 'Douglas was years before his time. But thanks to modern mobile technology, what was once only a hare-brained idea has now become a startling reality. The BBC has a long heritage with Hitchhikers - first with the radio play, then the TV series and more recently with the web-based Guide at bbc.co.uk/h2g2, and the mobile Guide simply extends the BBC's connection with this brand and brings it to life in a way I'm sure Douglas would have been proud of.'"

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
