Oh I see, you are only allowed to drive within your state. Do you have to apply to be out of state then? What if it's an emergency?

No, no, you can drive out of state. I meant "passing through" as in, if you become a resident of a state you have to get a new license. People go on driving trips all the time. It probably is a good idea to look up the state you're driving to's driving laws in case there are any differences you might run into trouble with.

Okay, now I understand! *dense brain finally allows information to slip through*
It's like going to Europe, I guess. But that irritating too- not only do they drive on the wrong side of the road but all their signs are in Km/hr. But all our speedos are in mph! Oh, the joys...

I can't be bothered to learn. I use trains

Hehe... that's the difference between living in a big city and living in a suburb (or the country). I drive because it's the most convenient way to get around my area.

I really hope that this cult is still going because I would like to become the (I think) first Canadian member.
When I first read of this cult I thought "This is what I have been searching for! Finally, people like me who want nothing more than a nice cup of tea and a comfy robe to drink it in." There is nothing finer than waking up and putting on your robe, going out and making some tea, then drinking your tea while perusing H2G2. I would live in my robe and live on nothing but tea and sandwiches if such a diet were feasible. So I must implore that I be allowed to join the Dentonites. Then when people ask why I'm still in my robe at 6 p.m. I can just tell them I am upholding the tenets of my religion.
Thank you in advance for considering my application essay.
Now for some more tea.

I think the only requirements are that you like tea or like dressing gowns - but especially if you like both
I'm sure you'll be welcomed with open arms

Excellent. I've done a lot of practice tea drinking and robe wearing in the hopes that I qualify (that and I was really sick but thats not the point). So I will take the "hopeful" out of "hopeful dentonite" in my name
Tea and the pursuit of happiness
Manical Despot No. 7 - Dentonite and Free! Posted Apr 30, 2003
"There is no sorrow in the world that cannot be solved by a good cup of tea", at least that is the way that I was brought up.
Cut off your finger? Never mind, have a good strong sweet cup of tea for the shock, now have a good strong cup of tea to feel better... feel better? of course you do.
Tea is central to my existence, my eyes don't open fully without it, and my legs can't move unless there's a detour toward the kettle planned within my route. I need to join your number, I must be at one with others who understand that tea is not just a refreshing drink to be enjoyed with a meal, but a central part of all bodily function - like breathing.
I also ask you to bear this in mind when considering my application. I live with a foul coffee fanatic, who often stirs my tea with the spoon he has just finished making coffee with - polluting the fair amber liquid with his vile bean substance! You must help me! You must bring me to your bosom!
Emploring you......

And we take you, whole heartedly! Those who have to live with those who pollute your tea deserve our support!
Come to our bosom, MD7!

Yeah, why not? If there are people enough to constitute a thread, let's have one! Though how long we can talk about tea is anyones guess..

To be fair - I could probably talk about tea for a lot longer than the average mortal. This is probably due to my ability to talk rot longer than the average mortal.
I personally prefer a nice strong cup of Assam, flavoured with a spoonful of honey and a slice of lemon, what's our other Dentonites cuppa of choice?
Since in the pursuit of true happiness with a cup of tea it is also important to consider the choice of cup / mug - a long-winded debate on the pros and cons of each is sure to ensue! I have also noted that they are the source of much passion, particularly in the workplace, where it forms a part of many people's personal identification.
Bring on the conversation - I conservatively estimate we can discuss tea for a minimum of a month without running out of suitable topics
Tea and the pursuit of happiness

I personally like to use a mug for my tea, that way I don't have to go back to the kitchen so often. My favourite choice of tea is orange pekoe with milk and sugar and a dash of peppermint syrup (which I made) or a chunk of candy cane. I do however like a bit of variety now and then so my roommate (who also loves tea) have a cupboard full of different varieties of tea. In fact I haven't had my morning cup yet. If you'll all excuse me for a moment.....

Wow, Clio your cuppa of choice sounds good. Might have to organise a cult visit to your living room in order to worship at the alter of home-made peppermint syrup.
I have to say I am a mug person (unless I am attempting to impress, in which case the posh china set comes out ) My mug at work is my favourite. It was a gift (which is always the best kind of mug) and it is white with gold swirls on it. It contains an entire pint of the precious liquid and reminds me of the enormous coffee mugs on Friends
Currently I am enjoying Tetley tea from my 18th birthday mug (oh, darnit, I've just realised my mug is a decade old!) and watching The Simpsons whilst surfing the Guide.
Does life (lif?) get any better than this?

I can't imagine how it could get any better. It's a beautiful warm day outside and I don't have to be anywhere.
Out of all my large mugs, my favourite is my Eeyore mug, it has four raised faces of Eeyore with three in black and white and one in colour, all of them are at different angles. It was a gift that my friend got me "just because". She rocks
