I salute the voluminous effort.
I strongly suspect that there is an easy way to do this.
But since I cannot truly imagine one at the moment, I will choose to believe that you did this the hard way!
Two entries of mine that I know (or think I know) that Jwf used:
Somebody's Mother
and
From the Obituary Page of the Shanghai, Illinois, Daily Intelligencer

I just knew there'd be a couple of his missing!
Very surprised that Bossel only has the one on Banjo Jumping.
Was a little embarased to see I only had four and two of those are by Elizabethan poets!

Oopsie!
Tonsil, can you name the issues where yours have been featured?
~j~, in that case I'm afraid I'll have to shift credits

Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Oct 3, 2002
Yes, 'Banjo Jumping' is my one and only thing here, as basically I'm writing more stuff. Perhaps except for 'Endless Loops' but that one did make it into the Guide

Well, I did find this and I wonder if those three credits made it into the list....

the actual link for #30
As for the obituary gag, I can find it nowhere.
I guess it got lost in the shuffle or got voted into oblivion.
I'll find some way to yank it into promininecence in the near future,
if I can't blackmail Jwf into rectifying the situation with a 12AX7.

A what? A 12wax7..? What's that? Is it like a Johnny Seven? Sorry, no guns allowed here.
*damn i had a typo there - thank the goddess for 'preview' - i almost offended a lot of huns *

What a weird day. I feel a virus coming on. Both me and my computer are working by fits and starts and I'm getting quite frustrated seeing 'this program has performed an illegal function and will be shut down' because it doesn't shut down and it won't. It'll just lock up and CTRL/ALT/DEL goes thru a whole series of 'end tasks' and finally, after a quarter of an hour or so, I end up just powering down anyway. Then it takes nearly a quarter hour to reboot what with the damn thing wanting to check for errors and then the Virus scans...
So what I'm trying to say is, my postings today have been random and more incoherent than usual. A few even went and posted before I had them edited properly and ...so I haven't always been able to say what I have been trying to say and ..so please don't let my frustrations become your frustrations.
You guys seem to be doing a good job finding bugs in the Honour Roll so I'll leave you to it with one final suggestion to Bossel that he delete the reference to me as the 'instigator' if that's what he meant by 'shifting credits'. If that's not what he meant I'm afraid I don't quite understand but I do sympathise with the smiley and would like to hear more about the problem so I can understand it and offer suggestions. Meanwhile, remember our work ethic motto: "If it ain't fun it becomes work and if becomes work it ain't fun and it ain't worth doing."
Oh and I see that you've discovered that Martin occassionally used his editorial power in the Archive notes. Yes he omitted such foolishness as the link to the Boatman thread but that's why I trust him. He was a very good judge of what was inappropriate and self indulgent on my part, several times. I suggest you continue to trust his judgement in those cases.
peace

Tonsil, link for #30 is fixed (at the moment only on my disk) .
"Those three credits" - do you mean the Alt.Writing Guidelines, the KISS version and 'How you can contribute' ? I left them out because I thought they were kind of 'help' pages rather than editorial stuff.
I notice your Alternative Theory of Relativity F79186?thread=202512 didn't make it into any issue either
Do we need a 'Leftovers' issue?
~j~ and shifting credits... I took your statement in the Agg/Gag thread to mean that two of 'your' entries weren't actually written by your esteemed self and thus were mis-credited to you. However, it appears that we might have been misunderstanding each other
The 'Boatman' thread... shall I insert it or leave it out?

The list needs to be compiled the hard way but once it's there, the GuideML table thing is just a matter of sorting this way or the other, and lots of search&replace, ie:
- replace all WinWord Tab characters '^t' followed by 'U' with '^t^p' to close the bio links,
- replace "^t" with "^t" (so the tab is still there but surrounded by GuideML tags)
- replace "^p" with "^p" to make table rows out of the lines
... plus a few more search/replaces with the A-links and that's about it

Oh.
Remember, you're talking to a fellow who has had a cell phone for three days and still hasn't managed to get his voicemail to stop hanging up on him...

Bozz.
Sorry for the misunderstanding(s).
As long as all the non-AggGag-member Contributors get credit and visibility for their Entries, I'm not bothered if we leave out some of our own.
Those two Elizabethan poems credited to me aren't really worth worrying about. The real authours have been dead for 400 years and they don't have researcher numbers. Their names are there on those pages, so if anyone thinks I wrote them, or thinks I'm trying to claim I wrote them, then that's their problem.
In my opinion The Boatman thread can safely be ignored along with any links to our Help type pages. Trust in Martin our crusty Archivist for guidance He had the advantage of writing his reviews just after each issue came out and he knew when to ignore stuff that was just 'stuff'.
For me the most important thing is that the Honour Roll page have an editorial opening that proudly makes note of the total numbers and sincerely thanks all the Contributors in general and names and Shazz in particular. And of course there should be a note explaining that all the authours are listed serially by researcher number.
Sorry to have created any anxiety. You've done such a wonderful job compiling these lists and it's a shame for us to be nit-picking this way.
Like tonsil I am computer illiterate so if there are technical issues of this entry's composition I can be of no help whatsoever. I hope you can transfer it safely to when it is completed. Some day I will come back to this thread and try to figure out 'tables'. Meanwhile I'm afraid I'll just keep causing more work for you and
team.
Let me know when you have it ready or if you want help with the editorial opening.
peace

Watch that 'us' stuff, white man!
I happen to think, and my dog agrees with me on this, that any pearls of fontifical witdom that happen to fall on the fallow eyes of earthmen from my golden keyboard are worthy of mention.

>> fontifical witdom <<
Now that particular quadrapedal play on words is certainly worthy of mention! It's like a Rubic's Cube. Everywhich way you twist it there's a new pattern of sensible nonsense. I especially enjoy saying it out loud ..with a lisp. Sort of an interactive pun. Very multimedia, very modern, very clever!
There, I mentioned it.

Just dropping by (Sunday morning here) to see how it's going.
Please post here when it's ready or if you need a hand with the editorial opening paragraph.
