they only allow really beautiful people on 
nah, its cos i was part of a meet caption competition, in my 'gorgeous' entirety 
its just coincidence really...youd have to turn up at a meet and have a captionable pic taken (realistically drunk or mischievious)

there are 2 official ones a year - anyone can go, but you should usually sign up. look in announcements or the post to find out about them...there are usually other non official ones too. isnt that great? there wont be another proper one (about 100 people go to them!) til december i reckon

Is it possible for students to get to meets - esp. at London? In fact, do students go to meets?

course it is. i do and im a student - they dont refuse people entry 
they even give you the odd free drink

no, i went to winchester
and thats where i live and its an hour away by train, see? plus you can live ina backpackers hostel...
