Pastey, there's a legitimate, free Java version on the web somewhere. There used to be a link to it on the Guide, but it was wiped out by the moderators in the great post-Rupert cleansing. You'll just have to Google for it...

Excellent!
It's not a problem any more, Terran, because links are allowed. There was a while when they weren't alowed in threads, and the mods just erased them without keeping any sort of copy, so that when they were allowed again all the good links were lost.

As far as I remember, it's hidden behind a particularly awkward door later in the game. ATS will make it work to a limited degree, producing small amounts of finite improbablilty which can be surprisingly useful...

But I don't have a clue hat to do, I just keep on seeing Marvin every now and then, and (I never thought I'd say this but) he is really beginning to get on my nerves. Help please

You can get Z-CODE interpreted INFOCOM games legally for free to keep @ http://www.latz.org/infocom or just play them online or look at the packaging @ http://infocom.elsewhere.org .
About the Vogon poetry, the case says to type in the Nth word from the first/second verse, but there are four verses!
I need help!

Each verse has four lines, when you get to hear the rest of the poem by complementing the vogon captain, you should be able see which line and which letter it is. Alternatively this has been no help at all, and I'm just repeating what you already know. But I just thought I'd say it anyway

Sorry, not which letter. I'm confusing you now I think, probably best to leave you to it. Unless you want me to try explaining it again?

Dancer: I don't mean to be a pain, but I have been waiting a litle while to be listed, and was wondering whether you would be able to list me.
Thanks,

Better add .Net to my list of languages as I'm on a very intensive "Learn this if you want to keep a job here" course
