YAY! I've been looking for this place for a while...
Krans Hopeson
Languages: Java, PHP, SQL (ODBC/MySQL).
I'm a bit of a frustrated programmer - I've only actually succeeded in writing one genuinely useful program (http://www.users.freenetname.co.uk/~brettp/projects/phpco/overview.html).
Wants to learn assembly code...

Oh and BASIC come to think of it. Mainly Dark Basic, this cool modern BASIC that didnt really make it into the mainstream, unfortunately.

Just posted another VB tip - http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/A738560 but the < c o d e > tag doesn't seem to work - how do I preserve the whitespace (layout) on the code?

At the moment, in threads, you don't... When the "" smiley appears you will be able to use them like TABs, but that could be a while yet.

Hi Duncan,
The link can be now only A738560 , and the h2g2 parser links it to the entry , this prevents mistakes like that you forgot to use the dna engine in the address...
Is this article yours? because I think there's copyright issued about articles that aren't yours...
I'll link to the page from the PC's front page, if you link back to the PC from the page
Yours,
Dancer
