A Conversation for Talking Point: What Are you Scared Of?
thunder storms

I am really scared of thunder storms - forked lightning in particular. You can be as practical, logical and sensible as you like about this ... but I do some daft things when there is thunder and lightning about:
I have to stay indoors.
I have to be on ground level.
No windows open.
Stay well away from windows.
All electrical equipment unplugged from the switches.
I don't like using the telephone.
If it is a particularly bad storm, I come out in a cold sweat, I'm shivering and I am rooted to the spot and can't move.
I reckon this must be a phobia. Does anyone know what phobia it is?
