Jeeez; life conspires. I was determined to do all the "am i not positive/thou shalt not let the barstools get you down" stuff today.

So: woken up at 8am by the bleedin phone stalker.
This means howling cat must get fed.
Howling cat then throws up.
Gaze at 4 days worth of unwashed dishes; we can do this, we can, honest to god.
Gaze at the sodding pansies which are now drooping & praying for survival.
Notice the latest electric bill lying unopened from 4 days back. Write "At least look at electric bill" onto list.
Notice it's raining, yet again.
Get email from students. They won't be here 'cos they are on strike, as is the rest of France except for the fat prats at the top, who are no doubt off shagging their mistresses.
As no doubt is viking. May his balls rot, may he develop facial warts, may his hair turn grey then fall out overnight. That's just for starters.
Open electric bill. This is unfeckinbelievable. Because i laughed like a drain at the estimated bill of 98 on top of me having paid 1723 so far for the winter, i eventually got through to the idiots the real numbers.So, in an act of total utter logic, they are billing me for the real amount, plus an admin fee for MY phone calls plus, oh this is the really good bit...plus the original estimated bill as well as the actual consumption.

So, that's the first two hours of my day. Hari Kiri seems a fine option. Or I may plot some sort of political coup involving utter mayhem.I think on balance i shall say "sod the washing up" & go & hurl rocks at authority figures & try & shag a few students.

The students are not revolting, they are eating kebabs, they wouldn't know how to storm a bastille if it leapt out & bit them.

The man next door continues to drill; if this carries on, i may get my own drill out, we can have drilling war & end up with inventive shelf ideas on the walls. Maybe he is training to be a dentist?
