yeah, actually two of them, an amber colored Cocker Spaniel, "Lady" and a Boxer, called... GINGER.
Why did you choose your name?

I lived in Australia for 6 years and I picked up a Red Cloud Kelpie there who our lives revolve around ! ..... it's also a legendary Aussie dog in the Pilbara where I spent a fair bit of time. See http://www.dampiermermaid.com.au/dampier-western-australia/red-dog.htm
Louis de Berniere published a book about him a while after I joined HooToo.

Hey that's a NICE doggie! How did you like your exile? Are you returned to the UK?
and yeah, I like being a fan of the SR's... if you'd accept me... cannot do the 8 pints, but would 4 do?

Yup - native of Aberdeen now.
We need our slightly tarnished Leader Jamie to adjudicate on the whole fan/supporter thing ..... but he appears to have been captured by Celtic fans, has had his hair died green and forced to wear a Clown costume over the hols. Gof knows what they plan for him for Hogmany ! We're awaiting the ransom note
If it were up to me I'd be happy to have a "Friends of Scottish Researchers" arm ...... maybe the joining fee could be feeding 8 pints to an SR

Feeding makes it sound like we would complain. Which would only be true if there was fizzy disco water involved.

*taps foot impatiently waiting for Jamie*
You know if he doesn't put in an appearance tomorrow that'll be it until next week ..... he'll have his usual 4 day Hogmany hangover to get over

S'no excuse ... I had to dig myself and Mrs Red Dog out of a 4 ft snowdrift, ambush the sole passing taxi for an hour and fight our way into Aberdeen through a blizzard !

Well I did see him yesterday. He was still ginger but disturbingly sober, so I think he must have gone to phase three of his grand evil plan to take over the world. Either that or he was driving.

*fades out of lurkitude*
*raises her hand*
Excuse me... just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year!*
*fades back into her hideaway.*
