Aberdeen in August/September?
Mort - a middle aged Girl Interrupted Posted Aug 20, 2003
I know, I should be ashamed! Letting the reputation of the SRG slide aren't I?! Actually can it get any lower than the gutter??
I shall have a drink or 5 in your honour anyway

Unfortunately I have seen enough to know the answer is yes. Worrying, isn't it.

I can't make Aberdeen, but I'm sure someone could sort it out by then. Munchkin? You live like round the corner from Morton's....

I do remember a few of us discussed the idea of T-shirts ages ago, when vogonpoet knocked up a couple of designs, but nothing happened after that...

Why not get the backprint done onto official Hootoo shirts? They're plain white on the back...
"Been there, done that, threw up all down the tee-shirt"

Tis a pity people can't come. Still, perchance we could further discuss the idea of T-Shirts in Aberdeen, possibly for an unveiling at a future Scottish/Nodnol type meet. Although, I always find T-Shirts go badly with waistcoats.

A Scottish/Nodnol meet. Hmm. Would that take place somewhere in between? Like Northumberland/Durham/North Yorkshire perchance?

Carter Bar? Could stagger backwards and forwards between countries...

I would favour some sort of armband rather than a t-shirt. That or a hood and a bell.

I may, or may not, have the design that vogonpoet got together still hanging about somewhere on my computer.. I'll have a look about the mail-box to see if it's there.
As I recall, it wasn't too bad a design.
'tis a design of a stylised Thistle, where the leaf on the left side of the stalk comprises of the letters H2 and the leaf on the right side of the stalk comprises of the letters G2.
The Flower itself (the pod) is made up of the letters SRG and there's a bunch of Scottish town's names popping out of it as if they were the petals.
As I said, I'll see if I've still got it laying about somewhere.
T-shirts are cool.
