The Dizzy games were very popular in their time and provided a lot of joy for those lucky enough to play them. In fact, they were so good that many sad individuals haven't quite got over them yet and are still wasting away their lives playing them, which just goes to show how great they are... I think.
Anyway, Codemasters' Dizzy games were dead sexy and belong in the Computer Gaming hall of fame. I have written this piece, which provides a comical and detailed retrospective on the series, to educate the latest generation of gamers about the adventures of Dizzy. I feel it is only right to let these newbies into a delicious and often under-rated slice of gaming history. In addition, this piece will hopefully remind old school gamers of the brilliance of Dizzy and encourage them to dust off their old games and relive the memories.

Don't think I ever played a Dizzy game (I preferred Chuckie Egg), but I do remember the hype. Erm, as for your entry, I think you need to delete the references to the first person (e.g. "Why anyone would want to create a saga of computer games based on the adventures of one of these things is beyond me")
Didn't Dizzy have particular covers for each of the games? I really know that I know something about this series of games, but I don't know, if you know what I mean - trapped in my subconscious somewhere.

This is a useful article, but the GuideML layout makes it harder to read. You need to include the paragraph tag after your headers.
If you need to learn a bit more about GuideML visit the clinic:

When you have laid the text out it will be easier to read. I think that you could include some links to other entries, and possibly some facts and figures.(How many, How old, etc.)

This is a well written and structured entry on a topic I don't have the slightest idea of. And I learned a lot
However, I do think that a short para with an outline of the game's basic idea would be in order, eg(g): do you have to fight or score points in some way or another, this kind of stuff.
There's an occurrence of 1st person style in "They also gave me a reason for not going outside." -- The SubEds really frown upon it, as long as it can be avoided.
Other than that, I think this entry is ready to go into the Guide This may last , and please don't be disappointed if it takes some weeks -- there are many many recommendable entries around here, and only 25 of them get picked per week, to feed the daily rate of 5 new ones on the frontpage.

PS: there's no need to create multiple Peer Review threads for an entry. Please don't This just makes housekeeping a hardship for us Scouts. I'm going to post a note in the other thread, with the aim of pointing other researchers into this here thread before it makes its way to the Sin Bin.

Hi Alvin, I'm GTBacchus, the SubEditor working on your entry. As an American, I had never heard of Dizzy, but I followed the link in your entry and downloaded Fantasy World Dizzy for PC. It's fun!
Anyway, my version of the entry, which is the version that will appear on the front page in a couple of weeks (depending on how long certain queues are), is at:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A602894
Feel free to drop by and see what I've done to it. If you have any last minute changes you'd like to make, or if you have any questions about the Subbing process, just let me know. I'm mostly done editing (there wasn't a whole lot to do), and I'm planning to send it in to the Towers early next week.
Thanks for the entry, and Congratulations!

Ah shucks. Thanks for the response, you guys. Nice to see my forty two minutes of hard work and effort finally paying off. I am one step closer to spreading the Dizzy gospel among the masses and somehow using this to gain control over the entire world. Any advice on how I can manage this would be gratefully appreciated.
