Whenever there's a poll of people's favourite TV funny moment there's always one that's overlooked as everyone votes for the parrot sketch or Delboy falling through the bar hatch.
Alf Garnett has gone to the West Ham football ground at Upton Park - it's not match day and I can't remember the reason why he went, but he's in a foul mood. As he's walking out of the ground along the drive that leads to the main gate there's a car trying to get past him. The driver honks his horn at Alf because he wants to get past, and being in such a bad temper, Alf turns round and gives him a two-handed V-sign, complete with raspberry, only to find that car contains his three greatest sporting heroes - Hurst, Moore and Peters
