Even weirder is the fact that film legend Richard Burton appeared on an episode as himself. In the episode, Colt has an adventure on a train that Richard Burton is travelling on and he keeps running into him. This is the craziest thing I ever saw. It's like tuning in to CHiPs and finding Sir Laurence Olivier doing a guest spot. Mindblowing.

This week we're talking about surprising guest TV appearances. As the above quote demonstrates, Richard Burton, that most regal of old-school actors, once made a seemingly incongruous guest appearance alongside Lee Majors in The Fall Guy in 1981. And if that's not bizarre enough, how about Boy George's guest appearance on the A-Team in 1983? How weird is that?!
So come on, dig deep; we're asking:
What's the weirdest guest TV appearance ever?
Southpark and The Simpsons have made a feature of celebrity guest voice-overs, but can you think of any less well-known but surprising ones done by actors in the past?
On a slightly different tangent, Courteney Cox from Friends appeared in Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark video; do you know of any other surprising pop video guest appearances?
Or how about first jobs of actors who subsequently became famous for completely different roles? Jeremy Irons in Playaway anyone? We kid you not.
If the response is good enough, we may even compile an entry from the best postings. Have fun.
