apparently if you hold a seashell to your ear, you can hear the sea. what utter twaddle. surely all you're hearing is the noise your ear makes inside a seashell

Dunno about that, are you sure it isn't a shrunken beach with the waves crashing inside the shell. Thats what I always believed
