This show is on BBC FOUR tonight - unfortunately i don't have digital tv. But i'd really like to know what the show says - if anyone catches the show, i'd enjoy hearing / debating any of the issues raised.
The Trials Of Henry Kissinger
As the former US Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize winner faces accusations of war crimes, this programme asks, did he save our civilisation or was he just a power hungry politician? W/S.

I didn't see the program, but GWL mentioned on another thread that they'd seen it, maybe you should ask them about it?

I didn't hear the program. I've read quite a bit about Kissinger, mostly from Christopher Hitchins. Kissinger probably claims to have saved the West from some dreadful fate, but most of the wars he got involved in were bungled or pointless. He's always struck me as one of the more evil people to sit at the court of the US Presidents. Like Stalin, the sort of man who believes thousands of faceless "others" should die for the sake of his ideology.
