A slight niggle - you've got 'Cthulhu' wrong a few times in this article (Most notably in the article's title).

Actually Chaosium inc. (the makers of the game) tend to spell it Cthulu. Also the exact spelling appears to vary quite a bit through Lovecraft's novels, as does the pronunciation, from Kuh-THOO-LOO to KLOO-LOO.

The Chaosium game's certainly called 'Call of Cthulhu' on the cover.
However, you may well be right about the variations within Lovecraft's & Chaosium's works.

As he's an alien god with a squid nailled to his face, I guess any human pronunciantion/spelling is only an approximation anyway.
