Hello there!
More prayer points (am I being selfish here and hogging them all?) as I'm leading a group at my Churches weekend away this weekend. I've never actually lead a group like this - praying, reading discussing - so I'm slightly nervous. Also my Mum is in one of the sessions which will be even more scary!
Kinda need God to sort/help me out!!

Will be praying for you! I have lead those kind of meetings, not as scary as they seem!!! Soak 'em in prayer before you even get there, be honest and vulnrable, and Lift Him Up!!!

Very dear Yeliab,
I have just returned from my holiday and see that you needed some prayers. I shall say one of thanks tonight because I am sure that all went well. and that you were inspired to say just the right thing. Your friend AR1

Yep, it was fantastic however I hink I may have given in to God and allowed him to use me in some form of ministry. Don't get me wrong, this is great however it kinda scares the willies out of me. All sort of happened when I ghave up running and alowed myself to pray for me, then I just started weeping (in the garden and then on my misiters shoulder )
It was relieving and upifting. And the group I led was cool too, I heardly led it but we really discussed some of the tricky things like answers to prayer and praying in toungs (OK so it's tricky for my church! ). Some of the group were still closed to God and it was damn difficult to actually get the bible into the discussion somewhere, plus we really didn't have enough time.
But thank you all for your prayers, couldn't have done it withought help!

Glad to hear it went okay, Yeliab!
I could use some prayers. I'm trying to guide a loved one back to God, but don't seem to have the right words at the right time. I keep praying for guidance, but I'm not doing a very good job.

On that prayer for ya, Shea. That's a toughie.
While y'all are praying, I just wrote my Grandma on my mom's side... I'd really love to hear from her, but she's Jehovah's wittness and has a problem with the radically outspoken christian lifestyle I'm pursuing, so I don't know that she'll answer. I just told her what was goin' on and didn't bring up anything too controversial... but I'm still worried.

I will be praying for you all!! Do you think you could pray for me? I just feel so distant from God!! I really miss the closeness I had with him. Thanks!!

God's with you y.s. I'm sure that letter will allow him to really speak to her. I'm on to it.
I remember staying in a motel in Seattle where there was a JW conference goin on and I ended up staying in the jacoosie for about 4 hours till 1am talking to them.
As for you Shea, just know that Gods timing is perfect (and don't I just have no faith myself in that, hypocritical nick here! ) so everything will happen as he wants and you are not allone, I'll be praying too.
Jeremiah 20:7-9
7 O LORD, You induced me, and I was persuaded;
You are stronger than I, and have prevailed.
I am in derision daily;
Everyone mocks me.
8 For when I spoke, I cried out;
I shouted, "Violence and plunder!"
Because the word of the LORD was made to me
A reproach and a derision daily.
9 Then I said, "I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name."
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.

I'll pray for both of you! And I'm putting in extra prayers this Lent for peace. I figure it's good timing to do it.
