Excellent article!
One of my Primary School trips was to Killyleagh Sailing Centre. Ahhhh the memories.
Maybe mention the Irish name - Cill Ó Laoch?
Rev. Edward Hincks is maybe worth mentioning as a famous resident? http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=Edward+Hincks&btnG=Search&meta=

Great entry
It's readable and makes sense
My only comments are wee bitty pedantic points
In the 1st Geography para, you quote both miles and kms. Stick to miles and put the km equivalent in a footnote.
>>Much of the local activities...<< should read <<Many of the local activities...<<
What's the 'wrong kind of sole'?
Was Hans Sloane 113 when he died?
Check the footnotes. They should begin with a capital letter and end with a fullstop.

You're right, dear old Hans was a mere 93 when he died
Do I really have to explain that the word "sole" means both a kind of fish and also the leather bit at the bottom of your shoe (commonly shown in cartoons being caught by exasperated fishermen)?

Hi, LuckyStar!
This is a great entry--it's highly readable, and gives a good feel for the twon.
One very small point--you say that Hans Sloane was connected to Killyleagh, but you don't say how. It would be a good idea to make it clear whether he was born there, lived there for a while, went on holidays or whatever.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Oh er, blimey!
It is a rather special place, I've just been spending a long weekend there, enjoying the many facets of the Lough and the friendliness of the locals (who even chat to you as you jog, unwashed, around the harbour, bless 'em!)
