A Conversation for Talking Point: Favourite Soap Operas
Flying doctors for worst ever!

Okay, I admit, I watched it when I was a kid. I did love the bits with some typical Australian views in it (it's such a beautiful country) and the accent is also rather nice, 'mate'!
But apart from that, it's the worst ever... Entirely 'Cliché' and overacted, but hey, that's what soap opera's are all about, no?
Anyway, I also wanted to vote for 'Port Charles'. A lot of the times I have lunch in a student home and around 1.30 PM this soap starts. It's dreadful, and even though you haven't been watching for, let's say, 2 months, you still don't have ANY problems to catch up with the story! We always joke about it: 'this scenarist just writes one line every week : "proceed as usual"!' As far as I know, the plot has been to find a certain murderer for more than a year now...
